Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Sendmee application and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Sendmee provides a digital key management and sharing platform that allows users to create, manage, and share digital access keys for smart locks and access control systems. The Service includes mobile applications, web interfaces, and API access.

To use the Service, you must:

- Create an account with accurate and complete information - Be at least 16 years of age - Maintain the security of your account credentials - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree not to:

- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate unauthorized access to properties - Share access keys for properties you do not own or have authorization to manage - Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service - Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others - Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

When you share a digital key, you represent that you have the legal authority to grant access to the property. You are responsible for managing and revoking shared keys. Sendmee is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from keys you have shared.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed in the app and on our website. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable app store policies.

The Service, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by Sendmee and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. "Sendmee" and our logo are registered trademarks.

The Service may integrate with third-party smart lock systems, APIs, and other services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to their respective terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sendmee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Sendmee is not responsible for physical security of properties or for any unauthorized access to properties.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant that digital keys will always function as expected due to factors beyond our control, including smart lock hardware failures or network connectivity issues.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All shared keys associated with your account will be revoked.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
